POSITIVES OF THE BABY SIGNS PROGRAMME
Even before our daughter Milly was born I knew I wanted to teach her to sign.  I had heard such great benefits from being able to interact with babies before they learn how to speak, like reduced frustrations, heightened self-esteem and increased bonds that I just had to give it a try.

AMAZED BY RESULTS
Milly is now one year old and amazes me with her signs every day.  Not only can she tell me what she sees and start ‘conversations’ about subjects that interest her, but she can also express her needs so clearly that both of us have a much more enjoyable time together.   Had we never started our journey using signs I would never have had the opportunity to really see things through her eyes and recognise just how much she actually knows already!

SPARK
Having spent the last ten years teaching young children to speak English in Asia, I have had ample opportunities to experiment with using fun signs and gestures and anything else I could think of to get my meaning across to others who speak a different language.  This led me to grow an interest in language acquisition and during my research I stumbled upon the Baby Signs Programme…and my journey began.  Now, I am eager to help other families have as many amazing stories to tell as I do.
